The ministries of Good News Bible Church extend beyond the traditional church service on Sunday. Our members host Christ-centered programs that keep families active in their spiritual life. Please feel free to take a look at the ministries we offer.

Kids' Ministry

Our Children’s Ministry team is committed to partnering with your family to touch the hearts of your children with the eternal Word of God. We are committed to providing a safe environment where your children, ages birth through sixth grade, can have fun and feel loved and secure as they are taught Bible lessons that are age-appropriate and relevant. We want the Children’s Ministry at GNBC to provide the best hour in your child’s week!

Kids Ministry includes:

Sunday School classes for ages 2yrs through Highschool at 9:15am Sunday mornings.

Children's Church during worship for ages 3-7.

Awana Clubs for ages 2-18yrs on Wednesday evenings from 6 -7:30 (See our Awana page for more information)

School of Christian Living Classes

The 2026 Winter SCL Classes began on January 11th

The current books are:

Preparing for Battle: A Spiritual Warfare Workbook

Concise Theology: A Guide to Historic Christian Beliefs

The Book of 2nd Corinthians

All the classes are at 9:15am on Sunday Mornings.

Women's Ministry

Titus 2:3-5 Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored.

We are excited to have Katherine Hager as our Guest Speaker for this year's 2026 Women's Retreat!! She will be speaking on Living Joyfully in Difficulty.
Katherine Hager is passionate about supporting and encouraging women, especially moms. Her writing ministry connects women to the Word of God as they walk through the seasons of motherhood. When she is not writing, Katherine enjoys spending time with her husband and their five children, and helps run their ministry for kids, Gospel Rocks Ranch, near Llano, Texas. Katherine was born in South Carolina to Chris and Carol Arch and grew up in Iowa City. She has a degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in English. She loves open skies, vibrant sunsets, and spring weather perfect for outdoor play (minus the occasional rattle snake).

The Women's ministry includes Bible Studies Bi-Weekly on Wednesday mornings at 10:30am.

OWLS (Older Wiser Loving Saints)

The ministry to our seniors is called OWLS – Older Wiser Loving Saints. We want to serve and minister to our seniors, and as they have so much to offer, we want to give opportunity to them to minister to the rest of our congregation with coaching, discipleship, serving, pass on wisdom from experience and putting into practice about what the Bible taught them.

Anybody the age of 55 and older is welcome and we meet once a month with different activities.
