Titus 2:3-5 Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, 4 so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored.
The Woman's Ministry at Good News is dedicated to nurturing our community of women by: encouraging the ladies to attend bible studies and events provided throughout the year, by instructing the women in the Word of God, by using Godly leaders as teachers and role models and by directing women to utilize their God given abilities in an area of ministry they are suited for. Come Celebrate this special time of year with friends, family and neighbors. Enjoy complementary desserts, free childcare, while you enjoy great food, and entertainment with other women. The salvation message will be presented during the evening. Please bring friends, family and co-workers to this event. Our Guest speaker for the evening will be Terri Carmouche.
Terri Carmouche is a lover of Jesus, wife and mother of 3, that is passionate about knowing Jesus and making Him known. As a Philadelphia native and first generation Christian, she is all too familiar with the struggles of being raised in a godless home as well as the obstacles of growing up in the inner city. But GOD in His infinite wisdom sovereignly called Terri to Himself as an adult to teach her that her past does predicate her future. By extracting from GOD's truth, she has chosen to exchange her ashes for HIS beauty and loves to inspire others to do the same.
